Seth’s story is a classic entrepreneur’s tale of the years of hard work behind being an overnight success. Seth has been at the forefront of online technology since its inception and is a visionary inventor, successfully and repeatedly bringing technology to bear on business needs. He has exceptional experience in the key areas of technology driving RareLogic. As a successful founder, Seth sold DeepMetrix to Microsoft in 2006 and was a co-founder of ipMonitor, which was sold to Solarwinds in 2007. After a period with Microsoft in Redmond, Seth returned to Ottawa to investigate in-memory databases and launch RareLogic.
Mark Northcott holds an MCS in Computer Science and Software Engineering and brings his passion for distributed computing, databases, and all things development to RareLogic. Mark’s breadth of expertise is rounded out from managing research and development teams as the head of R&D at non~linear creations and indulging his appetite for all things start-up as the CTO of Adjoy. His deep technical knowledge and enthusiasm provide the framework for the development of the overall offering from RareLogic.
Marc Gagné is a veteran of online services development and management. He recently left Microsoft, where he led development teams in Redmond, Washington, and Dublin, Ireland. Having worked with Seth for over seven years prior to joining Microsoft, he brings complementary assets to the company. Marc has a tremendous track record and experience in building commercial products and managing development plans. He gained invaluable experience working with some of the top teams in Microsoft and uses his knowledge to drive the technology road map for RareLogic.
